Technique Clinics
Technique clinics provide strategies for improving your technique, breaking through plateaus, increasing endurance and efficiency, and overcoming fears about climbing.
Technique 101
Not just a "Level I" class for beginners, but also for climbers up to 5.10 who have never had any instruction on technique, whether on top-rope or lead. This clinic will help climbers focus on skills to help improve the accuracy of foot placement, eye-to-body coordination, and climbing without getting too "pumped" on climbs.
6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, every other Monday (check the calendar)
$30 / Annual Members
$35 / Monthly and Non–Members
Technique 202
You've taken the Technique 101 clinic and now your ready to take your skills to the next level. This clinic will prepare climbers with a better understanding of where to place their feet on the wall in order to control hand holds with proper body positioning. Also learn strategies on how to read routes and stay relaxed on the wall. These are essential focus skills when it comes to redpointing climbs.
